On June 3, 2025, PUCM President Dato' Keith Li  welcomed a delegation from Jiangsu Ocean University, including Vice President Zhang Yuanliang, Dean of the School of International Education Han Xiaojie, and Dean of the School of Foreign Languages Zhao Jinghui. Jiangsu Ocean University and PUCM have partnered to establish an Overseas Language and Culture Practice Center in Kuala Lumpur, and Jiangsu Ocean University has appointed President Dato' Lee Chong Peng as a visiting professor.
