Building on our vision to enhance friendship between China and Malaysia

 

 

As the founding president of PUCM, I’d like to express my sincere thanks to all including PUCM members and friends from all walks of life who has been supporting us during past 10 years. 

 

I congratulate PUCM  on 10 fruitful years of achievements  and on the 5th China Smart Industry Trade Exhibition , as well as the increasingly influential triligual official media - Malaysia-China Insight . I am confident PUCM’s initiatives will enhance good relations between Malaysian and China entrepreneurs in Malaysia.

 

PUCM was established in 2015 and currently has over 170 company members. PUCM members have been contributing to economic growth of the nation through various industries including information technology, construction, mining, oil and gas, telecommunications, solar energy, retailing, manufacturing, tourism, and F&B .

 

PUCM has been actively promoting Chinese companies and communicating with the local community through such creative methods as holding trade exhibitions, shooting Chinese New Year and Hari Raya video clips, holding seminars and forums, interacting with the Bumiputera community and holding charity events. PUCM also interacts regularly with local and international media.

 

PUCM held a grand dinner in Kuala Lumpur on 20 Feb., 2020 to mark the 45th Malaysia-China diplomatic relations Kuala Lumpur, graced by then-Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian and then-Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok.

 

PUCM held Malaysia’s 1st China Smart Technology Trade Exhibition (SCITE) in December 2019 at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur, featuring companies representing artificial intelligent and smart technology products from China such as smart city concepts, various robotic applications, drone technologies and other smart products.

 

PUCM successfully held 2022  China Smart Technology Trade Exhibition & Forum on September 6 , 2022 in Kuala Lumpur.

 

PUCM members has donated over three million ringgit in medical supplies and cash to Malaysia and China authorities and agencies to help fight the covid-19 pandemic, illustrating PUCM’s passion and concern for both nations at this time of need. 


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Monday took the time to meet with PUCM Exco members  in Parliament house on Feb. 18th 2025.


PUCM president was invited to join the Entrepreneurs Group following Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar's official trip to China at end of March 2023.

PUCM President met  Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar and presented PUCM official newspaper to him as a toke in April 2023.

PUCM President  was invited to Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar  official residence  for Buka Puasa dinner in March 2024. 

PUCM Exco paid a coutesy visit to Deputy Prime minister  YAB Dato' Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof in May 2024.

PUCM Exco was granted audience by Raja Muda Perlis 
Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail in Oct. 2024.

PUCM has been actively interating with Malaysian societies and especially with Bumiputra community and received universal praise from both Malaysia and China.
 

I am very pleased that PUCM is publishing a 10th anniversary special edition of its magazine and newspaper to showcase the milestones and achievements of its journey from 2015 till today.  

 

I sincerely hope that this publication could be very helpful to spread positive energy and further enhance bilateral relations between two nations. I’d like to wish all the members of PUCM a happy 10th anniversary and a great success in the future endeavours.
