PUCM successfully held the 2022 AGM and Dinner with Minister Tang Rui from Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

(Kuala Lumpur News on the 19th) Minister Tang Rui of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia revealed that in 2021, the bilateral trade volume between China and Malaysia bucked the trend and rose despite the haze of the epidemic, growing by 34.5%, reaching a record high of US$176.8 billion.

He pointed out that China has been Malaysia's largest trading partner for 13 consecutive years. In the face of the epidemic, the people of the two countries have helped each other, and the 40 million doses of vaccines provided by China have provided important assistance to the Maldives' national vaccination plan.

When Tang Rui attended the exchange dinner with the Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs Federation (PUCM) last night, he said that this year marks the 48th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have maintained close exchanges in political, economic, cultural and other fields, their friendship has been continuously deepened, and they have held similar positions on regional and international issues. I believe that the friendship between the two countries will continue to develop steadily and healthily, and I hope that the two peoples will continue to be committed to Malaysia-China friendship as well as regional peace and development.

He praised PUCM for its great contribution to the friendly cooperation between China and Malaysia over the past six years, which is obvious to all. In addition to carrying out various activities to serve members and deepening people-to-people exchanges in Malaysia, the federation has also done a great job in self-promotion. The Malaysia-China Perspective trilingual news has made outstanding contributions in promoting Chinese companies on different platforms and readership groups, telling Chinese stories and promoting China-Malaysia friendship.
