Minister of Communications and Multimedia sends 5th birthday wishes to PUCM
PERSATUAN USAHAWAN CHINA DI MALAYSIA
CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
I wish to congratulate Persatuan Usahawan China di Malaysia (PUCM) or China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia on its 5th year of excellence and the success of the Malaysia-China Entrepreneurs bilingual magazine and Malaysia-China Insight English Newspaper & trilingual news apps. I am confident PUCM’s initiatives will showcase as well as enhance longstanding relations between Malaysia and China.
I understand that PUCM has been actively promoting Chinese companies and communicating with the local community through such creative methods as holding trade exhibition, seminars and forums, and charity events. The members of PUCM have been actively contributing to economic growth of the nation through various industries including information technology, construction, mining, oil and gas, telecommunications, solar energy, retailing, manufacturing, tourism, and F&B.
I had the opportunity to attend and launched PUCM’s Pahang State Chapter on July 18th 2020. PUCM also set up its AI chapter and held Malaysia’s 1st China Smart Technology Trade Exhibition ( SCITE) on 14-15 December 2019 in Kuala Lumpur showcasing AI and Smart technology products from China such as smart city concept, robotic applications and connectivity-related smart products. It is with hope that PUCM could introduce more Chinese investors to Malaysia, especially in AI and technology sectors to further strengthen business tie between two countries.
I am pleased to see that PUCM is publishing the 5th anniversary special Edition Magazine and newspaper to record the important milestones and events of the association. I wish all members of PUCM a happy 5thanniversary and a great success ahead in future endeavors.
